Der Untergang

The news is hardly news anymore, but here goes: Warner has dropped support for HD-DVD in favour of Blu-ray, and Toshiba has more or less officially declared that HD-DVD is dead. Okay. So much for the not-news, because everyone had seen it coming a long time already, of course (especially when visiting your local music/DVD/Blu-ray/HD-DVD store…where the only thing you’d see were the nice blue boxes, but not the other ones.

Oh, well.

Warner’s news inspired griffq to make a clip about this. You’ll recognize the film used as Der Untergang – very applicable. And funny.

  • Absolutely fantastic, witty and funny.
    Toshiba=Hitler and then Paramount and Universal…Italy, Japan…
    Anyway, I don’t have enough money to buy B-Ray either.
